Week 7: Listening–Empathy and Styles

Listening (2 parts—10 points for textbook portion and 10 points for the exploration/quiz portion)

1.  Textbook:  Test your level of listening empathy by completing the activity that says “Test your Empathy” on p. 151 in the textbook.  You will record your score onto the completion certificate in #2 (below).

2.  Exploration/quiz:  Complete the Listening Styles exploration activity and quiz.  Once you have completed the activity, print the certificate.  Bring the certificate to class on Monday with your name in order to receive credit for the exercise.  Be sure to fill in your listening empathy test score from #1 (above) on the certificate.  To access the activity and quiz, click here.
